LALL CAPS WILL BE FOR SALE!
Let's play some lacrosse, eat pizza and celebrate!
Dear Malibu Lacrosse families,
Ball down, body check, cradling, face-off, cutting...just a few of the terms we learned during this amazing season of lacrosse!
Your commitment and support to our new Malibu league shined at practice and at our games as you cheered and participated in assisting us to create a great first season. Our coaches prevailed as most of our players were new to the sport. The mindfulness and commitment of our coaches are forever appreciated. We were lucky to have the passion and dedication of Director, Brant Didden. His first year with LALL and hopefull not his last. Brant kept us going in front and behind the scenes. A special BIG thanks to Charlie Meister; the LALL co-founder. Charlie's dedication is clear from the moment you meet him. His theory of “every kid plays” stands true as when our U-15 players could not play due to the league rules, he immediately found playing space for the boys at his Palisades games. A real leader of the sport and supporter to the player.
To CELEBRATE we would like to end our last scrimmage on SUNDAY, May 20th 12 noon at the upper Malibu High School field with a PIZZA PARTY!
I am asking for parent contributions of beverages, plates, napkins, etc. to make this a grand event for all!
It will also give us a chance to share experiences and thoughts for next season.
If you wish to contribute, please let me know via email at yvette.r.pompa@gmail.com
with great thanks!
